Warranty Policy

1 Product Warranty

All products and equipment supplied by Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects only. Warranty periods vary according to product category and manufacturer specifications.

Where a product develops a genuine manufacturing defect within the manufacturer's warranty period, Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd may assist the customer in processing the warranty claim where applicable. However, the final decision on replacement or repair rests solely with the manufacturer.

2 Workmanship Warranty

Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd provides a workmanship warranty covering installation-related defects directly resulting from our installation services:

Residential & Small-Scale Projects

Three (3) months workmanship warranty against installation defects arising solely from our work.

Medium & Large Projects

Up to six (6) months workmanship warranty depending on scope of installation.

Commercial, Industrial & Special Projects

The workmanship warranty may be extended where agreed by both parties and clearly stated in the quotation, contract, or invoice.

3 Payment Schedule

A 95% deposit is required before commencement of work and procurement of materials. The remaining 5% balance is due once materials arrive on site, prior to installation commencing.

Ownership of all supplied materials, equipment, and components shall remain with Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd until full payment has been received and confirmed.

4 Warranty Coverage

The workmanship warranty covers defects resulting directly from our installation, including:

• Loose electrical or solar connections
• Incorrect cable termination
• Improper wiring carried out by our technicians
• Installation defects in switches, socket outlets and lighting points
• Distribution board wiring defects
• Earthing defects arising from our installation
• Incorrect installation of accessories supplied and installed by our company

5 Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

• Power surges or unstable public electricity supply
• Lightning strikes or electrical storms
• Fire, flooding or other natural disasters
• Rodent, insect or pest infestation
• Customer misuse, negligence or abuse
• Overloading or improper load management
• Reverse polarity connections by third parties
• Physical damage or accidental impact
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or modifications by third parties
• Relocation of installed components
• Water ingress, flooding or excessive moisture exposure
• Generator-related faults or improper generator operation
• Failure to follow operating instructions or maintenance recommendations
• Normal wear and tear
• Manufacturing defects beyond our workmanship
• Electrical appliances or accessories not supplied or installed by Abitech

6 Warranty Voidance

Warranty shall be deemed null and void if:

• Product labels, serial numbers or warranty stickers are altered, removed or defaced
• Warranty seals are broken or tampered with
• Equipment is opened, repaired or modified by unauthorized persons
• System alterations are carried out without prior written approval from Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd
• The installation has not been paid for in full as agreed

7 Customer-Supplied Materials

Where electrical materials, fittings, equipment or accessories are supplied by the customer, Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd shall warrant only the workmanship of the installation. The company shall not be responsible for defects, incompatibility, poor quality or failure of customer-supplied materials.

8 Out-of-Warranty Service

Products and installations outside the warranty period may still be serviced by Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd at applicable service rates. Charges may include diagnostics, transportation, spare parts, labour, and other related costs.

Components repaired or replaced under paid service shall carry a limited 90-day warranty covering only the specific repaired or replaced component.

9 Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim:

• Contact us immediately after discovering any fault believed to be covered under this warranty
• Provide your original quotation, invoice or receipt
• Our technical team will inspect the reported issue and determine eligibility
• Where the fault qualifies, repair or replacement will be carried out at no charge
• Where the fault falls outside warranty scope, a separate service charge may apply

10 Limitation of Liability

The liability of Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd under this warranty shall be limited solely to correcting defects resulting from our workmanship. The company shall not be liable for:

• Damage to electrical appliances or equipment
• Loss of business or income
• Consequential or indirect losses
• Damages arising from power fluctuations, acts of God, customer negligence or any event beyond the company's reasonable control
• Business interruptions or consequential costs arising from equipment failure or power outages

11 Right to Review

Abitech Lighting World & Solar Energy Ltd reserves the right to review, amend or modify this warranty policy without prior notice. The applicable warranty shall be the version issued with the customer's quotation, invoice or contract at the time of project execution.
